After posting up in the 'Wanted' section regarding an R8 aerial, Russ got in touch and said he had one.

When I enquired about the cost, he told me he didn't want anything for it... not even postage.

It arrived today in superb packaging. Just goes to show that even new members will go out of their way to help people out.

Thanks a lot Russ! You're a star!

Cool Mike, thanks for that :)

I did wonder why the aerials would be different on cars that share the same A pillar.

Is the coupe not an R8 ? A pillars are different on that , not to mention the arials in a completely different place ;)

Yes, ok Mr Pedantic :P

Fine, all non-coupe/cabriolet R8's share the same aerial.

Gayer :P  (I've been using that word an awful lot recently... damn you C2K!)

Paid a visit to Russ today following a 168 mile northbound trip to pick up an interior - genuine top bloke, he took 99% of the stuff out ready for my arrival, helped with last remaining bits, charged me a bargain price, and is quite obviously a genuine Rover nut - I then about footed and drive another 168 miles home!

Top bloke!
