I'm looking for Josh Reynolds phone number. I send him a fair bit of cash for parts a few weeks ago and now he is not reading my private mails or contacting me. He has been on the site (even today at 12.29pm) I'm hoping this might jog his memory to send the parts!!!

I've been working away from home doing 14+ hour days so cut me abit of slack, I've literally just walked through the door and only just noticed I have a message. You sent the money 4 days late which means I haven't been home. Your parts will be in the post first thing in the morning. I'm not out to rob you!

True enough  There were plenty of bullet holes before and after his name though, and I'm watching Breaking bad, all that meth is making me edgy!

I was just looking for someone to give me your number so I could txt you to find out what was happening. I got a bit worried when you had been on here and not read my pm or let me know anything mate.
When you said you were home last weekend and were going to send them to me that weekend I was looking forward to receiving them last week!!
It really wouldn't bother me in the slightest as long as I am kept up to date with what's going on... Cheers mate.

The ::::'s are only there because its something different and it catches your eye. So people would look at it and read it!!
It's not "bullet holes" hahaha....
I had heard lots of good things about Josh, that's why I sent the money as a bank transfer as I could trust him.
This was in no way a dig at Josh at all, just looking for others who know him to pass his number on.

Josh is a top bloke and you have nothing to worry about at all with a trustworthy decent R/T member like him. There's normally always a reasonable and logical explanation for delays and pauses in contact/communication when people are buying stuff from other R/T members.

There's a tiny few out of the whole forum population who have been anything less than honest or genuine, and this sort of post to me just reminds me of how other members who have done loads to help and contribute and supply services and parts to the forum members often going out of their way, and doing stuff for others in their own time, when they have families and work commitments, who have been bad mouthed and run down and had people saying logger behind their back.

This place died a little bit for me after the Mark Coupe run down threads a year or so ago. I hope that kind of thing doesn't happen again, or why will anyone every bother putting themselves out to help others again and keep getting shot down by bad mouth'ers ?

You guys need to make things clear before money changes hands.

Unless something totally unexpected comes up, a shedule of how long it will take etc is a very reasonable thing to ask.

Delays in parts could mean more downtime or expense incurred by both sides

The money was four days later than I asked for which meant I haven't been home until yesterday, Alan may have had things crop up on that day which meant he couldn't make it to the bank. I'm a contractor so if they offer me work I always say yes otherwise you end up at the back of the cue in the search for it, this I can't let happen! Those who have met me know exactly what I'm like, if I say I'm sending something the first opportunity I get after cash is exchanged it will be on it's way.

*edit* ask marty what time I rocked up at his after finishing work in his area, I was then up again at 5 to do the same thing, if I'm working I literally have no time most days.
