Attempting to install the program onto my laptop, getting a message saying the 'FDTL1 driver is not loaded.

Admittedly, the interface is not connected to the car, but from reading other posts I thought this driver would still load. I have put all four files, that is -
CDM20824_setup.exe
pscanloader.exe
pscanwinnapp.exe
license.txt
all in the same folder - C:\pscan. Have I done the right thing?

Hopefully I've answered my own question having re-read the instructions, in that the interface must also be connected to the car. Will try tomorrow once the battery has been charged overnight!

You need to run the CDM20824_setup file first to install the driver, and then plug the box into the PC using the USB cable.

This should install the driver.

Once this is done run pscanloader.

Thanks, now working partially. However, I get 'fail init(ialisation)' when testing the engine on both petrol V6 engines (should the engine by running or just ignition on & off?). Also, 'fail init' on the ABS on one car only, the thing I really needed to test.

So far as I nkow the V6 engine is MEMS3, while the ABS system is ABS5.7
Any advice would be appreciated.

I was able to reset the oil change mileage!

The MEMS3 is only found on four cylinder cars.
If you have a V6 then I suspect that you need EMS2000.
