I do normally register updates with Avast and to Symantec (Norton) but this can take time and slow updates, and mistakes can happen (like I forget). It appears to be impossible to register false positives with Kaspersky. In general there are too many antivirus programs for us to deal with all of them.

Firstly pscan.eu is not a virus, but please only install it directly from us. If you download files from any site other http://www.pscan.eu then it could contain anything.

If you are concerned that our software might be a virus please go to https://www.virustotal.com/ and check the files there.

There are now too many viruses for the antivirus vendors to detect them all, including malicious files which criminals are hand crafting to attack just one company or even just one person (this is called Spear Phishing). If a file has been specially created to attack one person then no antivirus company will have seen such a file, but they still want to protect customers from such attacks.

Most of the antivirus companies have come to the conclusion that it is easier to maintain a list of all the good computer files in existence than all of the bad ones. If they find files on your computer which are not on their list then they assume that the file is or potentially is bad. Each time that a small company such as pscan.eu LTD release a new file it will not be on their list and so it will be treated as being potentially bad.

The best solution to this is for you to create a special folder to install pscan.eu into (we recommend C:/pscan.eu ) and then to whitelist the entire folder using the control panel of your antivirus program.
Some antivirus programs call this an exclusion.

To do this please follow the instructions from your antivirus vendor.
Some examples are given below:-

Symantec / Norton

Avast

Kaspersky

McAfee

Windows Defender (Windows 10)

Please exclude the whole folder that you have installed pscanloader into, not just the file
