Going to clear out the garage this week and there will be some Coupe parts in there that may be of use to someone. If they are still of use I can put them to one side for someone to collect (No cost for them).

Off my head I am pretty sure there is:

Drivers side window mechanism (No glass, but I think the motor is there).
Passenger side window mechanism (with glass, but no motor).
VVC binnacle with silver brushed metal dials (believe the fuel gauge is not working)
Master cylinder

If they aren't of any use I'll dispose of them, but the window mechanisms used to be pretty rare.

I believe there is also a roof panel bag in there as well.

Are the dials the early type or the later R3 200 Bubble style ?

They are for the 1.8 VVC which is the R3 style.

There is also a set of later rear light clusters as well I believe.

If the are enough R8 parts for me to justify the 180 mile round trip then I will come and save them. The window mechs should be save regardless as wires and motors do fail

So far I have found:

98 VVC Coupe (or R3 VVC) Metal Monkey Dials and Heater Surround (Over £100 new on Metal Monkeys website and these were the very first set as I had them do the template years ago)
Set of 98 VVC rear light clusters (ones with the clear indicators) - some on eBay for £10+ eqch
Set of McGuard locking wheel nuts with key (originally £20)
Set of original wheel nuts and locking nuts and key
Coupe roof panel bag (one on ebay for £30)
Passenger side window mechanism including glass (no motor) - One on eBay for £40
Drivers side window mechanism with motor (no glass) - One on eBay for £50
Indicator / Light stalks - Some on ebay for £15+
ABS Pump - some on ebay for £60+
Windscreen wiper motor - Some on eBay for £15+
Wind Deflectors (no metal springs though)
Master Cylinder - some on eBay for £20+
Power Window control unit - One on eBay for £15

Some pictures at https://photos.app.goo.gl/CekUTXsfeiDABafh2

Many of the parts will cover the full period of the Coupe, some even the R3 models as well.

All gone to a new home where hopefully they will help keep some Rovers on the road.

Thanks Dan, hope the journey home was good.

Thanks Stu. The parts have been cleaned, boxed up and labelled and put on my spares shelves to help keep my Rovers going.

It was good to chat today and hear about your VVC restoration. It seemed to be a longer journey on the way back! Finally got home at 5.45 after a pitstop near Centre Parcs!
