My 1999 620ti had a new headgasket (and head-skim) four or five years ago. Sadly the job wasn't terribly well done, and recently the headgasket went again, with accompanying overheating, and refusal to start.
I'm in Hertfordshire and can't find anyone who will even consider doing the job for me (I'm past that sort of caper - 20 years ago I would have had a go, but not nowadays!).
So unless anyone knows of someone who will replace the headgasket for a *really* reasonable price, it's the end of the road, sadly.

Anyone any thoughts/advice?

Cheers,
Howard

Replacing a head gasket is a bit of a meal, depending on how long the car was driven after HGF, did it badly overheat? if it did then chances are you need to skim the head, which you need a machine shop to do.
