have just totally read the tutorial and cant decide whether you leave the original mk3 wiring loom in the dash or put the mk2 loom in and change a few things?

im thinking its, leave the full loom (mk3) in the new dash and add a few connectors from the mk2, this correct?

sorry for being thick as pig sh1t!

No, you have to transfer mk2 loom across to mk3 dash, then add the fog and HRW switch wiring.

You feed your Mk2 loom into the dash. Then chop the connectors where necessary and wire to the button plugs.
