Now here's the definitive answer, this is taken from the Rover AutoCourse data manual in 1995 for a Vitesse Sport, which is identical to all 200PS engine in terms of boost control. For the 180 Vitesse version's, i have been reliably informed that maximum boost is 8.8psi.

I thought it was common knowledge the boost of the 200PS engines was approx 6psi increased to approx 11psi via BMV.

Nice peice of info though :D

No it isn't, it's a common enquiry, hence this posting which should be put into a technical archive to save me having to say it every 5 minutes

Perhaps you could include on the sticky what the 180 runs as well and the differences. This all to often a common question.

To update, the STD Vitesse engine (known as the 180 model) uses 8.8psi of modulated boost as opposed to the 11.5psi of the 200PS engine.

hi guy :)
i've read the following data on my apexi:
at 2100 rpm = 0,75 kg/cm2
at 3500 rpm = 0,60 kg/cm2
at 6500 rpm = 0,85 kg/cm2

the boost curve si very strange in this motor!! go up at 2100 rpm, after it go down until ~ 4000 rpm, after it up again until 0,85 kg/cm2 at rev limit!!!
Now i understand beacause t16 engine have a flat torque curve!

bye!!
