I doubt they would ban anyone who has posted on this thread would mean there would then only be about 4 active members [emoji38]

A lot. For me he's on the level of people who rob shops, old people and a general scumbag.

No dealings with Rob personally but RT as a whole I have given up on. I consider myself a pretty diehard rover fan but this forum is dead in the water. I'm going japanese although will still have my 600 for a long time to come. Its been a labour of love and lots of expense to turn away from now.

I think I've bought a couple of things off him back in the day and had no issues shame it's came to this. I have to sadly agree with David that this forum is pretty much done which is a shame, am still here several times a day and will update my project as and when I touch it....... Done any more work on your 820 David?

Done any more work on your 820 David? Made the hard decision to cut my losses on the 800. If I had somewhere to work on it properly it might be worth it still. It suffered badly over the winter months sitting exposed on the driveway and I've lost all heart. My focus is on the Ti now and reidfab. I'm also getting myself something jap in the next couple of months. But, rover wise I will be doing lots of good stuff on the Ti.

So what you getting or do we need to wait till you post the pics up on here Got my heart set on a 370z. Should be looking seriously in a couple of months though no real rush as I know which spec I want so just keeping an eye out.

Very nice, I've always liked them and the 350z. Their pretty much the same engine as one another arnt they? And love being supercharged....... I remember I done some work experience whilst leaving the army they had two race 350z engines and both failed due to the end of the cams shearing off as the ends of the last cylinders are floating......

Still learning about them. Slightly bigger engine, flatter torque curve because of the VVEL and it apparently lends itself better to forced induction like you mention with supercharging according to the main tuners out there. Forced induction is said to really wake the VQ37 up. The stock exhaust is very restrictive so a decent system sees some good gains alone. There is some good support in the UK for these cars with a couple of known decent tuners. No real major headaches with these cars aside from benefiting from a decent oil cooler if you track day where they like to run a little hot. When I bought my 600 I wanted a black one and ended up with a dark blue.. Gonna try and get a black z, maybe not with black wheels though..

Nice David... seems the typical pattern.... MGR to Jap... back to MGR. You'll be back, just look at me 350/370Z are great cars. I've been trying to convince a friend at work that he doesn't need his savings and to buy the 370Z he's been raving about for the last 18 months!

Yeah also being Nissan's they have shocking paint work. Funnily enough when I was on my work experience a grey 370z supercharged one came in and wanted it's side skirts painted, the job the painter done embarrassed the rest of the car...... Good job they were near the floor so you wouldn't relise unless you got close lol but yeah black shows everything lol
