o, and bring a lid of course!

Dave, have you driven the new silverstone before? be interesting to see what you think. I did the short track old track yonks ago and it felt like I needed another 500bhp and 2 tons of downforce!

Excellent, my dad costs me a second a lap the fat get so I can turf him out and get a Mike replica in the car! result :)
Ill bring my drill incase i can see anywhere we can put some more holes to lighten you up a bit more.

We might see one of your road toys on the track Dan? I fancy doing a M3 vs 135 at some point. The 1 needs some upgrades first, but i reckon it can get close once its been de-shitted.
And we only do half lap runs.... (the 1 will stop/break if its hammered for more than 45 seconds)

Yes, sorry Greg! Week day ones are pain. But at places like oulton it saves a crap load of ££

Can't get time off work, so that's ended that plan :(

Maybe later in the summer I might actually have my car running and can join in on track somewhere.

ah poop.

But yeh, Dan and myself should be doing a variety of days across the northwest>midlands. Looks like Dave is going to be doing a few to so should be plenty of chances to have more than 1 Rover at a trackday around this area.

Keep me posted on how you get on Jase and when you plan to next be out.

I plan to try and do,

Oulton
Croft
Cadwell
Snetterton
Mallory

this year (funds permitting).

Dave

I probably wont be doing any of them Dave!
Coz I drive my car there and back blyton is the furthest ill go :( and even then im camping (in a tent, not picking up men).
Oulton is off season only due to silly price - i can see it being close to 300 this summer

For me its Oulton (rainy season), blyton, ty croes and any sprint like things that turn up. Ty croes is way to far for you guys which is a shame as its a really nice track

Ive never really worked it out, but the consumable costs, tyres and fuel id guess at 150-200 per day.
The day itself 150-250. Then mechanical wear on top of that.
So yeh, funds allowing!!!

What's at Ty croes?

In South Wales?

I drive all over the country so its not a big issue for me to travel.

As said, let me know what you book and I'll try and join you.

Dave

I'm up for that too!

Must be a nice day though, as it often looks horrible from the pictures I have seen 8)

angelsey can be horrible, very horrible, but ive only had that once, and the other 2 times it rained it was dry then wet or wet then dry. It can clear up and dry pretty quick.

So save winter, it should be fine. Ive never failed to either burn all my fuel or break the car before rain stops play :)
