Just to let people know if interested in sprint racing, held at my local track.
http://www.curborough.co.uk/introtosprinting.htm
Done through Shenstone & District Car Club.
I'll be attending, get some information & find out prices, maybe go on track with instructor with my vitty.
But probably look into a secondary track car for these events.

Was good day, still bit cold watching the cars but least no rain.
Had 3 Rovers 820,my Vitty & 220 Slightly modified turbo, not sure who that was haven't seen before.Anyone on here?
Good if can see more Rovers on track later in year, think the next rwyb 28 may, apparently use any vehicle don't need to have any equipment for this one just be road legal.
Trying to get vids of them on you tube, but there not very good as couldn't see very well with my phone camera.

Well don't think the 800 series really designed for sprinting but think we both held up well.
It good fun & lets you vent your adrenaline in safer environment,it all to do with times mainly just trying to beat your own times & highest speed etc.Bit more challenge if pit times against similar cars.
We all did 2 laps with instructor today,so just learning the track,it harder then looks as spectator. But i didn't push too hard this time.
Can always come down to an event see what you think. The next shenstone & district club meeting is 20 may free to spectators, rwyb 28 may i think.Or look up on youtube,i have put a couple on of the 820 & 220 turbo. There are events before but not sure if have to pay or not,but if join the shenstone club for 21 quid 25 family, all events free as spectator.
