Hi
I have a contact with a Dyno in Northampton.
£35 per car as long as we have 10 or more.
I can sort it out with him if you want?

TBH I've been busy with work and a family member thats ill, so just not had time to chase anything up. Plus we really do need a bit more interest, as usually there is a big drop out.

Well I'm moving back home for the summer today, but wouldn't mind going up to Northampton though, just not until next month as I go away on holiday this weekend and don't come back until the 3rd. I think its cutting things too close now anyway tbh if you want more people signed up.

Don't stone me to death if you've already discovered this but Vausport in Shifnal sold up a couple of months back.

The Mini guy a couple of units down (nice guy) has taken over the premises but Vauxsport chose to sell the rollers separately!

Well it may be best to put this on hold for the time being, as I am rushed off my feet with work, some of the cars wont be able to run, and we don't really have enough runners. Perhaps we can try and push this more as a national event and find somewhere everyone can get too and have more of a big Rovertech meet.

When I spoke to Gaz (Vauxsport) at the end of Feb/beginning March that's what he told me. He did say that the rollers had gone to some wealthy enthusiast/collector out in the countryside somewhere - think he also said that the guy a military collection of some sort.

I was proper miffed 'cause I'd had my motor done there twice before and wanted it back on the same dyno.

Hi Grant.

I'd be interested in Northampton. Depending on weather though.

Ok the rollers have been sold to a garage in Brosley high street, Not a good location as its a busy high street and no parking!!

He is able to accomerdate 2 cars at a time and all other cars are to be parked on the station car park down the bank in Ironbridge, and its a very steep hill for a bout a mile in length! So basicly we all goto park down bottom of hill, walk up to rollers and walk or get lift when it our turn!!

I know the hill and the place and id say Fcuk that :x

Ok after reading this last night popped to the place which brought the Rolling road off Gareth at Vauxsport, the chaps name is Dale and has it fitted in a small extension off a working Garage, asked him if he would be interested in organising a Rolling road day, but sed because of his location and lack of space would have to say know but small groups of people 3-4 are welcome at £30 a power run.

So i think that is out of the question, he is only using it map Megasquirt on Grass racers but can fit and map most aftermarket ecus, and i have heard some good stuff about his work.

Unfortunately wasn't really enough interest before, with a lot of people chopping and changing. IF enough people are interested I could pay a visit to DRM in Kidderminster and see if they are interested in hosting this.

There is also this thread: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=95224&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
