Surprised, the used slick market works out considerable cheaper than road tyres Martin, there aint even 30 people signed up.... The course is around 60 seconds, or 40 seconds for the short circuit. You can book the entire day for £60 from 9-5 and just keep going out in the queue. What I am saying is £20 for 3 minutes track time is a bit of a major fail. The organisation is also pi55 poor so far, I have paid the money and no one knows what is happening. All everyone keeps saying is I will ask Martin, or I will ask Stacey. Can someone just pick the phone up ?

This might help folks
lifted from rcoc Postby handy » Wed Jul 03, 2013 4:59 pm Right guys n gals/
Update on this event, Recently had a meeting with Stace to sort out whats what regarding this event. We now have a breif out line of whats going to happen!.So here is the plan so far!
Fri 18th oct. For early arrivals camping facilities will be available from 2 oclock onwards. I will be organizing an in formal BBQ (bring your own food and use my BBQ ). I will be organizing a "Petrol Heads Quiz" early that evening with Bespoke RCOC Prizes. There will be a Marquee for some drinking and informal get to gether chat. We are trying to get as many Bums on seats for this event to work.So if you are coming early (Friday) there will be some exccellent Bespoke 1 off prizes for the quiz (not to be missed)
Sat 19th oct, This is raceday so there will be a drivers Briefing and i believe racing will start at 12,and continue through the day till 5. Also throughout the day there will be various other things going on. There will be a concourse show with some Fabulous prizes for best in show and worst shed!!!!lol! There will be a BBQ Running throughout the day and for a small fee you can purchase some sizzling food. This will be Subsidised and prices will be very reasonable! we are also running a bit of a car part Jumble ! So if you have some spares to get rid bring them along! We will also be running a raffle (Tickets on sale throughout the day)With some Fabulous Prizes !!!! again Bespoke and Coupe Related! After the Racing There will be a prize giving at the marquee for Race Winners and Raffle winners!!! After 5.30 ish we planned to leave the circuit and head to a nearby watering hole for some food and some last banter before home!
This is the brief layout so far and hope you like it! We really need you guys and gals out there to sign up now and forward your monies to Stace to reserve your place to race! I cant urge enough that for this to work we need Bums on Seats!!!! Would be nice to get as many coupes as possible. Nearer the date if it looks like we are not getting enough interest places will be opened to other Rover Forums !So please Please lets make it work!!!!!!!
Just a last word C&C Engineering(handy) will be sponsoring The Event Prizes, and BBQ food(sat)!!!! Cheers Handy.

Unread postby Stace » Sun Sep 08, 2013 1:30 pm Hi everybody!
Apologies as always for the delay logging on... some of you know how frantic my time is right now, but for those of you who don't I'm sorry!
Rest assured however, I am keeping track of all the payments that come in, and the list for track time currently stands at: Greg Hall Adds Ryan Paxton Kevin Willis Dave Roberts Dave Brown Tracey Walker Paul Rich Hubbard Mick McCormack Scott Chris Ulmer Daniel Blewitt Peter Ormerod Bob Grace Pat Purcell Mike Winspear Tom Pinney
In terms of an itinerary for the day... I am going to meet with the track administrator during the week of 16th September to make the final arrangements and so on, and I have booked off work so I will plenty of time to ensure you have all the final details for you with a solid 4 weeks to go.
I can let you know that Handy will be running the Friday night festivities for those who are camping and I believe he is kicking off at about 5:00 pm so you can start arriving then to help him get the tent up!
As for Saturday... those of you that are camping will be able to get breakfast in the cafe from 9:00 am and the bacon rolls are a very reasonable price. The party itself kicks off at 12:00, which is when the sprint laps will begin so please start getting there from 11:00 am to allow time for you to get checked in etc.
Please bring your friends and family... it's only £2 quid per car at the gate if you don't want track time.
I look forward to seeing you all there and letting you know the final details in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks!
Stace

As long as your car isnt on par with an audi lemans tdi you will be fine

I asked if vehicles up to 105db would be passable, and response i fit was, it will be fine

Well it is a birthday party after all!
I never got over selling my Tomcat road car and couldn't ever bring myself to sell the racer.
Looking forward to it, and meeting other owners again, just hope its not raining!
