Poss thinking about coming to this as im only 15mins away.. Can i go round in a zs180?

With regard to the noise, ive been to spectate here many times and noise has never been an issue, ive seen old Formula 3 cars and GT3 cars let loose without any issues.

Check first post for all details

At this moment in time they are in position to refuse any paying willing person as the coupes have been poorly represented

I think the qualifying criteria was a British car, preferably a rover

So you will be fine

get in touch as per first post with Stace

Like i say, due to not exactly high demand, there are plenty spaces needing to be filled

And i for one have no objections at all. not that its anything to do with me. but someone who shows interest and is willing should be allowed to participate

Sir Greg,

Can you confirm if visitors need to confirm their arrival or can we just turn up?

Hi gang!

We're just making final preparations for our party day at Curborough, and I've got a couple of updates for y'all.

I can confirm that the circuit has a dB limit of 105, and that the noise levels are being checked on the afternoon.

I can also confirm that you don't need to wear a helmet, though you're welcome too if you'd like.

I've arranged to have the onsite cafe running for us (because I trust it more than my BBQing skills) so there's a good range of hot food available. Please be aware though that you'll need to bring cash with you as a cash machine is a long way to walk!

Just a reminder for those of you that haven't got much track day experience, the track does not cover any damage you cause to your car and neither does your insurance company (standard track day rules) Trackday insurance is available from certain insurance companies, but is not compulsory to run.

So, here's an update for the folk we've got coming to play. I don't know everyone's forum names as I get the emails directly... so I've missed yours on the list below, feel free to remind me!

Greg Hall ghall2004
Adds adds
Ryan Paxton
Kevin Willis kevinwillis
Dave Roberts droberts
Dave Brown davva
Tracey Walker jinxy
Paul oneoffcoupe
Mick McCormack vvc_geezer
Scott Smith scott tomcat
Chris Ulmer TC
Daniel Blewitt
Peter Ormerod
Pat Purcell V8spat
Mike Winspear byebyegti
Tom Pinney tompinney
Jason Davis
Anthony Hall
Dave Harasym HA54SYM
Ian Portsmore
Stefan Overy

There are still a few folk who have said they are interested, but haven't yet paid. Spaces are filling up, but there are a few left...

If you're on the fence and haven't decided whether you want to run, you may be able to sign up for track time on the day... but be warned, I will give priority to the people that pre book so I can't guarantee spaces on the day.

Guys, I'm really looking forward to this weekend... I hope you all are too!

Stace :

The world ends and we all turn in to pumpkins ?

Real answer: You man the fu.ck up and brake earlier / buy some decent tyres ?

Wow guys... not long now!!

I hope you're all looking forward to saturday!

If you've booked track time you will have received a registration form to either bring with you or return to me. I will also have these on the day so don't worry if your dog eats it ;)

The final line up for the day consists of:
Greg Hall ghall2004
Adds adds
Ryan Paxton
Kevin Willis kevinwillis
Dave Roberts droberts
Dave Brown davva
Tracey Walker jinxy
Paul oneoffcoupe
Mick McCormack vvc_geezer
Scott Smith scott tomcat
Chris Ulmer TC
Daniel Blewitt
Peter Ormerod
Pat Purcell V8spat
Mike Winspear byebyegti
Tom Pinney tompinney
Jason Davis
Anthony Hall
Dave Harasym HA54SYM
Ian Portsmore
stefan Overy
Rich Hubbard rich_hubbard

There are more spaces to be had on the day, in case you change your mind when you get there.

All the location details are already posted up on this thread, and I know Handy has put a lot of effort into Friday night for those of you who are camping.

Don't forget to wash your car and get it entered into the concourse competition... it's all a good clean bit of fun!

See you there guys!!

Stace

Well that's another car off the list I am afraid.

My van has died, and as I don't have time this afternoon to get it fixed or have another tow car I'm stuck.

I will still pop over to the event in something as I need to meet a few of you, but it won't be a Tomcat or British, I'm sorry.

Dave

Been searching for a new tow transit tonight actually :drive:

As really wanted to come and play with the main guys that seem to be doing track days now!

Ill try and pop down over in the day assuming i can move my transit for repairs in the morning.

Totally backfired, cost me a quid to get you entered and you wont a £20 cap !!!

Turned out to be a really good day out, I did have my reservations initially I will admit. Shame we didnt have RFID timing, would have been easier to manage.

Couple of "look at me" pics. ( P.S jase is obviously better than me, but he got in to trying too hard mode, coupled with the fact i bribed the timing folks, and I was very lucky, and my tyres were more suited to the track etc. etc.. )
