So, can I tempt half a dozen people with this again? Long way off yet, but may as well get a ball rolling nice and early for a change rather than the usual last minute dash to get something booked.

Go on then

I have unfinished business to attend to

1. Stefan
2. Greg

And going by traffic levels at the end of the day will be my sessions

Yeah I was surprised how quiet it was getting towards the end of the day, bonus tbh as I'm not a fan of early starts

They owe you a track slot tbh, but fat chance of getting one out of them!

I wonder if I'll get a third chance of lapping Dan

Looks like entry ticket prices have gone up yet again, £12 in advance now. £25 track slots before 10am (I'll still be in bed) and from 4pm if booked by the 26th February or £30 until April 14th. All other slots are at £30 until 14th April.

Whoops, let this one slip a little! Sort-of kind-a last minute-ish bump.

Still up for this Greg or are you a hater now?

I'm out now too due to dead car, maybe I'll try again in September depending on what I'm driving at that point.

Anyone still going to this? I'm heading down with the misses for some track against some gti6's from the 306oc, I'll be bringing my action cam if anyone wants their track recorded (so long as it isn't at 13:00)

Anyone going who has a headgasket set? Noticed a small leak coming out by the cambelt side, probably not ideal when I got track time

Steve,

This never went ahead in the end , OP crashed his car so Mr Alonso won't be on track this season.

The slag wont be ready till the following Monday.

That said, I dont think now I have experienced proper track days that I would do an action day again, just way too stressful.

+1

yes this

was a whirlwind of lunatics trying to take each other out

far far too many different power of car and driver ability out on track at same time

Was a great experience, but i dont think i will be ever booking track time in a hurray at an " action day"

Similar reason I was not too interested too.

From looking at what goes on in the past, it seems more max power and no idea, than a proper track day. (sorry if this offends).

Would still like to do coombe on a trackday though, anyone?

OK mate, that's great.

I want to do another day in May for a shakedown, as I have a private / corporate day booked in early June, and will be last chance to get set up.

So either Coombe, Mallory, Oulton, Cadwell, Rockingham are all on my list as locals.

Dave

Starting late again this year so need to get a few in.

Just all "down south" are logistic w@nkers

Knockhill anyone?

didnt think so

Croft is a lot better, i did really enjoy combe for its high speed corners and felt it was an easier track to drive and suited to the coupe chassis compared to KH

A bubble round KH would be very interesting

Know what you mean about the different power levels, last time the car was weasing around the track with 140 ponnies to its name with 6x9s, amp and overnight gear in the boot. Compare that to the atoms and whatever racing around made for some scary experiences
Fun though
