whats involved in fitting the intercooler from later models to the Early models? will it all just bolt in?

the car in question has a mechanical injection pump and a throttle cable about 10 ft long! from what ive seen of the later cars the boost pipe runs across the front of the engine pretty much where the throttle cable runs on early one? what do people do to get round that?

so far im running 18psi with the pump fiddled with but its actually pretty noticeable when the engine gets hot that it doesn't have the same enthusiasm as when its cold.

you'll notice it gets hot when your pistons genade.

Well covered topic that if you are on stock pistons 12 psi is where you should be and as you haven't mentioned that i'll put that part first.

As for FMIC some fabrication is always required but any universal kit will fit. Stay away from jubilee clips and use proper mikalor clamps.

So does any one have a guide or pictures of one installed with a mechanical injection pump? :?

Done this, no pics but easy enough to do. You need inlet manifold and all intercooler pipes and the cooler. Radiator is the same, you may have to extend the intake air temp sensor as its in the crossover pipe on the di's and in the manifold on the d's.
