I have owned the car since 2007 and in 2011 I started a project to turn it into a trackday car.

After doing a few trackdays in 2012 life has kind of got in the way and the car has been garaged ever since. With the prospect of moving house and it being doubtful that I will get to use the car in anger any time soon I am undecided on what to do with the car so any opinions on what its worth and if there is a market for it. I WILL not be splitting the car... i'd rather keep it as it if there is no market for it.

The progress of the build was documented here:

Quite a bit of work was done on the car and it actually handled pretty well on track,, showing up some fr more expensive machinery.

Parts added to the car include:

Safety Devices Roll Cage
OMP Seat subframes
Sparco Seat mounts
Sparco Seats
Luke 4 point Harness
Spaco Steering wheel
Gaz Gold coilovers
Fully polybushed
OMP Engine bay strutbrace
Home made rear strutbrace
620ti gearbox with Type B diff - rebuilt with new, uprated bearings.
Larger ZS 180 brakes with EBC groved discs and Ferodo DS2500 track pads
Goodridge braided brake hoses
Speedline Mistral wheels
Original Roversport front bumper and grill
Original top rear window spoiler

Overall the car is still in pretty good condition with around 90,000miles on it.
It has sat garaged for few years and is obviously without MOT but it is road legal (I used to drive to/from trackdays) so could be MOTd and put on the road. Bodywise where very small areas of rust but nothing that would take too much to repair - ie no gaping holes!

After changing the oil out today and putting a new battery on, it started first time. Would just require a good tidy up and service to get it track ready again.

Let me know your thoughts as to what, if anything, it may be worth! Like I say I am still undecided as to what I want to do with the car but would be good to get some info.

Got to be a couple of grand in this condition to a Rover enthusiast, just depends who is interested at the time you sell it. I'm sure there would be loads who would jump at it if was about a grand but I wager you have put too many hard hours into it to justify letting it go for that sort of money.
However so long as you keep it in decent nick its unlikely to ever go down in value. Keep it and stick a turbo on it.... you know you want to :drive:
