Actual item pictured below.

Drop in, direct replacement for OE elbow, fits any T16 turbo engine.

Less restrictive than the standard elbow so you should see a few more horses and slightly lower boost threshold. Especially effective if you already have a high-flow exhaust system or a larger turbo.

One of the bolt holes on this elbow may need enlarging slightly if you have a 200sx T28 turbo.

£85.00 + £5.00 postage.

Also available: stainless steel fasteners and a genuine MGR downpipe gasket: £4.00

Sorry, no. It'll only fit the T2x turbo flange, M-series uses a T3 as standard.

Yeo, there's five of these running around on members' cars so far, excluding the prototype on my car.

The above picture shows only 4 holes for fastening to the turbo, I thought there were 5 on the OE one? Does this not present any problems/blowing?

And what is the turn around time if ordering one of these? :)

Gav, nope, not at all.

Most people who fit larger stainless downpipes don't bother with that 5th bolt as it's such a pain to get to. The exhaust side of the turbo heats up so fast that the joint is sealed in an instant.

I always get that bottom bolt in , tried and tested now on a Grant pipe , an IT pipe and a Mark pipe. 8mm thread ford exhaust manifold studs are win !

^^ I agree. It's a pain in the arse and always takes me an age but it's well worth using a stud with metal lock nut on it.

I suppose it wouldnt be hard to drill the hole anyway.

I aim to keep one of anything I offer for sale "in stock". Otherwise it'd be about a week, they're very time consuming and I'm not a fast worker ;)

I promise though you won't get a bolt or even a nut where the fifth hole would normally be, there just isn't room. Because of the honking great standard downpipe flange the pipe has to take a tighter route compared to a one-piece elbow/downpipe. The barely-sufficient space on a one-piece becomes just too little.

As said though, there really is no need for it.

I tried a stud and nut and there and from what I can remember, there wasn't enough space to get the nut to turn.

It was a while ago since I fitted it now so I'm not 100%.

Standard thread size on a T2x housing is M8 is it not?
