Fair Play
Aimed at more the complete novice and all for a bit of fun, and the closest the majority of attendees and their cars will ever come to seeing track time etc
You input is welcomed, having looked at various material on the net i agree it is narrow, but then again its more a time trial event/meet
Input noted

I think its an issue with cookies I had the same problem. Delete the Rover coupe cookies and you should be ok.

Bump
Greg Hall Adds Dave Brown Tracey Walker Dave Harasym Dave Roberts
Right guys n gals/
Update on this event, Recently had a meeting with Stace to sort out whats what regarding this event. We now have a breif out line of whats going to happen!.So here is the plan so far!
Fri 18th oct. For early arrivals camping facilities will be available from 2 oclock onwards. I will be organizing an in formal BBQ (bring your own food and use my BBQ ). I will be organizing a "Petrol Heads Quiz" early that evening with Bespoke RCOC Prizes. There will be a Marquee for some drinking and informal get to gether chat. We are trying to get as many Bums on seats for this event to work.So if you are coming early (Friday) there will be some exccellent Bespoke 1 off prizes for the quiz (not to be missed)
Sat 19th oct, This is raceday so there will be a drivers Briefing and i believe racing will start at 12,and continue through the day till 5. Also throughout the day there will be various other things going on. There will be a concourse show with some Fabulous prizes for best in show and worst shed!!!!lol! There will be a BBQ Running throughout the day and for a small fee you can purchase some sizzling food. This will be Subsidised and prices will be very reasonable! we are also running a bit of a car part Jumble ! So if you have some spares to get rid bring them along! We will also be running a raffle (Tickets on sale throughout the day)With some Fabulous Prizes !!!! again Bespoke and Coupe Related! After the Racing There will be a prize giving at the marquee for Race Winners and Raffle winners!!! After 5.30 ish we planned to leave the circuit and head to a nearby watering hole for some food and some last banter before home!
This is the brief layout so far and hope you like it! We really need you guys and gals out there to sign up now and forward your monies to Stace to reserve your place to race! I cant urge enough that for this to work we need Bums on Seats!!!! Would be nice to get as many coupes as possible. Nearer the date if it looks like we are not getting enough interest places will be opened to other Rover Forums !So please Please lets make it work!!!!!!!
Just a last word C&C Engineering(handy) will be sponsoring The Event Prizes, and BBQ food(sat)!!!! Cheers Handy.

What is the format of the track time ?
I assume its just sprints, one at a time, how many sprints each if so ?

If theres anytrack time left ill be going Im guessing theyll just keep going Dan, one at a time for the day. If there is 35 cars itll need to be all day to get 5 or so runs in.

waiting for a reply mate, but yeh itll be an epic show of bad taste to show up to a coupe birthday in something made up of a couple of (now) dead ones 21 years tho, some of my bits and some of the cars going are actually that old.

You dont know if its one or two laps do you mate? If slicks will be allowed (those that run them will be in there own world!)? And if there is a limit to how many runs will contribute to the fastest time? Im not drunk, just these things make a difference J
